Smarter Planet by IBM opened January 29, 2010 in Epcot at Walt Disney World.  It is designed to show the impact that individuals and groups working together can have on the planet. IBM is an original sponsor in Innoventions since 1994.

Walt Disney World has announced that they will be opening a new pizzeria at the Italy pavilion in Epcot later this year.  Operated by the Patina Group, the new pizzeria will seat 300 in a restaurant with “Florentine architecture”.

Update: New pictures Jan. 25, 2010.  The water is back in the moat, the scrim is up on the bottom part of the castle. See new pictures at the end of this blog.
Disney is sprucing up Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. Of course I am always fascinated watching  Disney work their magic.

Walt Disney World unveiled a new pre- parade today in  Magic Kingdom . This is before the 3 o’clock  Celebrate a Dream Come True parade.  The pre-parade features the Muppets and the honorary VoluntEars.

I was fortunate last week that I was able to participate as an extra at the Disney Parks Christmas Parade at Magic Kingdom. I can remember watching the parade when I lived up North and wished I could be there in person.
