World of Color is the new spectacular nighttime spectacular at Disney California Adventure aimed at raising the bar for after-dark theme park entertainment, and hopefully revitalizing the second gate in California.  The show has 1,200 powerful fountains (some shooting 200 feet in the air), Disney and Pixar characters, music, fire, lasers and splash.  June 10, [...]

Though it wasn’t scheduled to open until June 11th when the Summer Nightastic promotion begins, the Silly Symphony Swings quietly opened Memorial Day weekend at Disney California Adventure.  The attraction is inspired by the 1935 Walt Disney cartoon “The Band Concert”, where Mickey Mouse attempts to conduct an outdoor concert, eventually conducting in the middle of a tornado.  [...]
