Saturday, October 9th SeaWorld Orlando announced the birth of their 16th killer whale. It is difficult to identify the sex of the newborn whale at the time of its birth, but SeaWorld has recently confirmed the new baby is male. They released the following video on their official blog and facebook page declaring the news.
SeaWorld Orlando had a new family member join them on Saturday, October 9 when the 34-year old killer whale named Katina gave birth to a 7-foot long, 350-pound calf.
