Limited Time Magic: Three Kings’ Day at Disneyland

Three Kings’ Day has returned to Disneyland January 4th through the 6th as part of Limited Time Magic.  This year the celebration has been moved to the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree and includes much more entertainment and activities.  Read on for more information and pictures from opening day.

The Three Kings Day celebration is open each day from 10am until 6pm and includes live performances, fun-filled activities, Disney characters and unique food offerings.

 

Entertainment is provided by the Grammy Award winning Mariachi Divas, plus other local folkloric groups.

Mickey and Minnie lead guests in a classic Mexican dance, then take some time to pose with their fans.

The Three Caballeros will also pose for a picture or two.

Special food items at the Three Kings Day celebration area include a sweet corn tamale and a Rosca de Reyes dessert.  The sweet tamale is also available at Rancho del Zocalo restaurant, as well as a buneulos dessert.

Besides posing with the characters, younger guests might also enjoy coloring, decorating a crown or free face painting.

The celebration seemed to be very popular on opening day, so make sure to stop in early to catch your favorite characters, food or entertainment.
