It has been a yearly tradition for the American Idol winner to visit Walt Disney World. The 2011 American Idol winner Scotty McCreery visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a parade down Hollywood Boulevard this morning. The crowd was very large and enthusiastic as he came down the street.

This week, the Disneyland Hotel has opened a new counter service restaurant called Tangaroa Terrace. The restaurant is based on the concept of “casual island dining,” and I can assure you the food fits the island theme and the atmosphere is definitely casual.

Here it is. My first official DIS review. As the new guy, I had to try to curb my obvious excitement and wide-eyed optimism in order to form an impartial opinion of what is, by all accounts, an amazing resort. Let me tell you, it was pretty much impossible.
