La Hacienda de San Angel restaurant in Epcot at Walt Disney World is scheduled to open to guests Sept. 16, 2010 at 4 PM. This new restaurant has been hidden behind construction walls and painted scrims since January 2010. Keep reading for more photos and details from the menu.
One side of the building will be a full service restaurant opening at 4 PM daily. There will be no advanced reservations taken until later in September for dates starting October 15, 2010 and beyond.
Some of the items on the menu are queso fundido (warm cheese with poblano pepper and chorizo), ribeye steak with a taco trio, roasted chicken and pork, a mixed grill for two with flank steak, roasted shrimp, refried beans. For dessert some of the offerings include chocolate churros, sweet tamales and fruit empanadas.
Next door will be La Cantina de San Angel. This quick service restaurant will be open 11 AM to 9 PM daily. They will have a menu that includes chicken and beef tacos with fresh corn tortillas, guacamole and chips, nachos, and empanadas. There is covered seating outside.
