Universal Orlando Resort released this video from events that occurred during the grand opening celebration from June 16-18, 2010 for the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter in the Islands of Adventure theme park. J.K. Rowling, author of the series of Harry Potter books, appeared and commented briefly during her tour of the new land with President of Universal Creative Mark Woodbury. Five time Academy Award ® winning composer John Williams led the Orlando Philharmonic in a VIP gala on Wednesday, June 16. Stars of the film including Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbledore), and others were on hand for the public unveiling on Friday, June 18.
