As always, a nice twist on the traditional food review. I just wanted to mention that besides those unlisted empanadas, they also have some really tasty cinnamon-sugar tortilla crisps that are off the menu, too! Why they don't list them, I will never understand - any restaurant knows that desserts upsell easily, if they are good!

[...] angel wrote an interesting post today Here’s a quick excerpt I know many people rave about the food here, and it is good. However, being Southern California natives, we are used to great-tasting Mexican food that you can get at a taco shop down the street for a couple of bucks. … We tried Cucina Cucamonga last year for the first time and thought it was pretty good. Didn’t realize it was so similar to Rancho Del Zocalo…we have never tried it. Any restaurant review that includes Venn diagrams is tops in my book! Thanks Tony! … [...]

Tony-You are a true Disney nerd and I say that with much warmth and affection because I am also a true Disney nerd. The Venn Diagram put your report over the top. Love it!

Such choices - on the one side, Cochina has tamales, but Rancho has the killer location, tortilla soup and free refills. In my book, Rancho is the choice.
