Thank you for the great report, Dave! I ran the Princess this year as well as the Disney 1/2 Marathon in Jan. This was a really fun race. No one does it like Disney… I especially liked that on the way into the pre-race expo, Cinderella’s coachmen were there to greet us! Also, one of the pirates I encountered near the end of the race was “heckling” the runners, telling us to speed up. Nice. Disney puts up small placards with “princess facts” along the route, too, which are fun distractions while running. There were many characters along the route (including the ghost lady outside the haunted mansion, telling us the martini bar was just around the corner…!). The sparkly medal is AWESOME and at the end of the race we could get sprinkled with glitter before moving thru the finish chute. My kind of race!
