Fantastic blog Skip! It is a shame that you have a problem with the airlines, but Amtrak seem to do a much better job than National Rail do in the UK!

Love the blog Skip! I have always wanted to take a train trip with my family, but reading your blog, I’m not sure how DH would hold up on a 14 hour bumpy ride.

I’m really glad you encountered so many good folks along the way. That is how they all should have been.
