Update: June 18, 2010, Wizarding World Now Open

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at the Islands of Adventure theme park in Universal Orlando Resort officially opened to the public today.  Huge crowds lined up hours before opening for a chance to get into the highly anticipated new land.

On Monday, our ‘adventure’ took us to the Tjabuki Aboriginal Culture Park.  Located about 20 minutes from our hotel, this bus ride did not include any warnings about how we were likely going to die, but I think that’s only because the ride there was too short.

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority reopened today at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.  The TTA, as it is called by many, had been closed for several months.

The Hollywood Brown Derby at Disney’s Hollywood Studios consistently receives some of the highest reviews for a theme park restaurant.  However, it is an expensive, upscale restaurant, and leaves people wondering whether it is a suitable, enjoyable place for kids.  Of course, any restaurant within a Disney theme park will welcome and accommodate families, but [...]

Demolition has started on the old Skyway building at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.  The bathrooms located here will remain and are going to be redone.  This building is located behind the Stitch stage in Tomorrowland.
