Thanks for the review Pete. All I can say is looking at the decor, the furniture and artwork still seem like a throwback to the 70's. It reminds me very much of my Grandma's house and I can stay there for free.

$700/night is insane. 243 points would average about $350/night. Not at all bad if you're splitting it between 3 couples, as georgemoe says. The pictures look quite nice.

I agree I wouldn't pay $700 a night for these but using 145 pts for a 5 night stay for 3 couples is of decent value. Yes, one couple has a choice of bunk beds or the pullout but so goes it. Time will tell on inter-resort transportation. We are looking forward to our stay in October and I'm sure others will appreciate the accomodations for what they are and provide.

Wow...$700.00 a night! Yikes! I have to say if you thought it was a bit cramped now...you should have tried the originals...My family of 7...that was tight. You couldn't open the fridge without everyone having to get up from the kitchen table. I think the remodel is beautiful and so much better use of the footprint and space. I'm glad they didn't bring back the "soup pot" bath tub...don't ask! Great and honest review. We might have to try them out again.

Thanks for the honest review. I know a lot of people are very excited about staying here and there is a lot of buzz about these and has been for ages. $700 a night is outrageous and the response you overheard from maintenance is equally outrageous. The thing is, the treehouses by their very name are novel and much anticipated and will sell out, which is almost too bad that people will pay for something that is not worth the price. The pictures are really nice though.
