I am very surprised that a lot of people in the US don’t know about the “Free Dining” as here in the UK Disney have been doing this offer for 3 or 4 years now, although for the past 2 years you have had to book at least a moderate resort to receive the free dining. We tried it for the first time last year and when we saw the offer for this year we took it up again. If you go to a moderate resort this year you get the cheapest dining as the dining plans have been changed. We are going to the Saratoga Springs this year so we will have the Dining Plan Plus.We always go to Disney for 3 weeks every year so this is a fantastic offer for us as it saves a lot of money.

I believe the picture is of Chef Mickey and yes, we always book at the value resorts with the free dining plan. The trick is that they only have a select amount of rooms available for this promo at selected resorts. So book early!

I also got a special email with this offer and booked my vacation already. Offer runs Aug 16 – Oct 1 and it appears to be for all price categories. So glad Disney wants to help us stimulate the economy, you don’t have to ask me twice for the free dining plan offer. I was secretly wishing noone else would go though.
