Update: July 2009. I am starting to notice a new variation of the mugs this year. They are starting to make an appearance at the Walt Disney World resorts. Coronado Springs now also uses the same mug as the rest of the resorts. You have a choice of yellow, red, black handles and same color lid. So it will be pretty easy to color code them for your family. They hold 12 ounces of soda. The cost was $12.99 plus .85 tax for a grand total of $13.84. The small print states: Refills available at no additional charge at Resort Beverage Islands located at the resort that this mug was purchased through the end of your resort stay.
February 2009. The new mugs are finally making their appearance at the Walt Disney World Resorts in Florida!!! They have been eagerly awaited by many.
I went to Caribbean Beach today but they were still selling the Year of a Million Dreams mugs. I took a short ride over to Pop Century. As I was going in I saw people walking out with the new mugs. I was excited.
The new mugs are not resort specific. They come in only one size, the size that fits the cupholder in your car.
