I made a 3 mile round trip and was ready to call in a cardiologist. 27 miles?! You poor thing!! Danee, I thought you'd get on while you're in shallow water. Oh no, you're in water up to your waist and looking at this thing that's sitting on top of the water. The fact that everyone else is waiting for you creates just a teeny bit of pressure. The guide was really sweet. I would have renamed my firstborn Byron, but after 24 years he was pretty used to being called Steve. ;) Oh sure, laugh at my traumatic moments. This reminds me of the time I agreed to take a 27 mile jet ski tour around Key West while riding behind my "need for speed" husband. I was scared to death, crying, and begging him to SLOW DOWN! It never happened. We were always right behind the lead guy! Corey has a picture of this nightmare where he is all smiles and I look like Jaws is right next to our "watercraft."
